Recently,
there
were
reports
that
Barkha
Bisht's
character
Asha
would
soon
end
on
the
show
Naamkaran.
It
was
said
that
Asha
will
die
in
an
accident
that
was
plotted
by
Daya,
Ashish's
mother.
When
asked
whether
her
track
was
coming
to
an
end,
Barkha
denied
the
reports.
She
said
that
she
do
not
have
any
idea
about
any
such
plot.
She
was
quoted
by
an
entertainment
website
as
saying,
"If
there
are
any
such
plans
of
the
character
of
Asha
ending,
you
know
very
well
that
actors
are
the
last
to
know
about
such
things."
The
rumours
turned
out
to
be
true
and
Barkha
is
upset
with
her
track
ending
suddenly.
She
was
quoted
by
a
leading
daily
as
saying,
"I
didn't
expect
Asha
to
be
bumped
off,
as
she
is
one
of
the
core
characters
of
the
show.
The
producers
informed
me
the
moment
they
finalised
the
track,
and
it
doesn't
seem
to
be
an
overnight
decision.
Every
two
weeks,
we
were
trying
something
new
to
up
the
ratings."
She
added,
"I
am
practical
and
understand
the
pulse
of
the
industry.
I
am
sad
that
I
am
out
of
a
show,
which
I
have
been
part
of
since
its
inception.
I
think
they
decided
to
end
my
character
because
of
its
shock
value.
Had
it
been
any
other
character,
the
level
of
shock
would
have
been
lesser."
It
was
said
that
she
didn't
get
along
with
child
artiste
Arsheen
Namdaar,
who
played
her
daughter
Avni
in
the
show.
When
asked
about
the
same,
Barkha
said,
"The
story
was
always
from
Avni's
perspective
and
hence,
she
was
the
protagonist.
But
that
doesn't
mean
that
I
was
any
less
important.
A
10-year-old
can't
make
me
feel
insecure."
She
further
added,
"As
far
as
not
getting
along
with
her
is
concerned,
you
don't
connect
with
all
your
colleagues;
it's
just
that
I
had
a
better
equation
with
other
people.
Today's
children
are
extremely
professional
and
mature
for
their
age
because
of
the
exposure
they
get.
My
love,
affection
and
patience
are
only
for
my
daughter."
Well,
we
are
sure
audiences
will
miss
Barkha
on
the
show
for
sure...
