In Ek Duje Ke Vaaste, Shravan (Namik Paul) marries Suman (Nikita Dutta) in the court. Suman and other family members are shocked at Shravan's sudden decision. They wait for Shravan, who goes out for work, immediately after marriage.

Shravan & Pushkar
Shravan reaches home. And when Pushkar asks about his condition and where he was till now, Shravan chooses not to answer him! Shravan gets ready to meet Nanu.
Shravan Apologises To Nanu
He apologises to Nanu for being late. He also lies to them that he got stuck in the traffic and asks for Suman, to take her home. But, he gets to know that Suman is at PCT!
Shravan Worried About Suman
When Shravan gets to know that Suman has left PCT and hasn't reached home yet, he gets worried. He confirms with Prita whether Aditya was at PCT.
Suman & Shravan
After knowing Aditya visited PCT, he goes out in search of Suman, thinking Aditya would have hurt her. But, he bumps into Sumo. He feels concerned and asks about her whereabouts. Suman is unaware of Shravan and Aditya's fight and argues with Shravan!

Finally, Suman's bidai happens. Mami ji gives her the sindoor box and tells her its importance in their family. Sumo, who is already upset with Shravan's court marriage, refuses to take it.

At Malhotra house, Kamini and Vandy are eagerly waiting to welcome Suman and Shravan. Although Ramnath is hesitant to accept Suman, he will have to accept her now, as she is married to Shravan.

The newly-weds do the ‘grih pravesh' in a traditional way. Shravan indicates Kamini that all these (the traditions) were not necessary as Suman doesn't like all these ‘tham-jham'!

Aditya takes his mother's permission to meet Shravan and Suman for one last time, before leaving the place. He also promises her that nothing would go wrong. He goes to meet Suman at PCT and gets to know about the marriage. Prita, who feels that Aditya is wrong, insults him by asking him to stay away from Suman.
After getting insulted, Aditya gets drunk. He decides to take revenge on Shravan and bring the truth out (as none are aware that Shravan had lied about his relationship with Suman to Aditya)!
Aditya kidnaps Shravan and ties him up to a chair. Later, both of them have an argument and fight.
Meanwhile, the family members are worried as Shravan goes missing. Pushkar is confused about his brother's behaviour, while Ramnath is worried thinking about Nirmala's words (regarding Aditya and Shravan's relationship).
Nirmala gets to know that Shravan and Aditya are together. She breaks down saying, "One son does not want to see my face and the other won't let me face anyone." She begs both of them to stop fighting!
