Namik Further Wrote…

These are some memories from the start of the show and a little write up of why they're special to me. I hope you like it 😊 ---When I officially signed on to EDKV and celebrated by stuffing myself with pizza whilst simultaneously freaking out internally.

Namik’s Look Test

When I tried on like 10,000 clothes at random stores in Bandra for SM. The official look test, which took about 9 hours. The first time the entire cast came together for a photo shoot. The first promo. The print shoot which gave us the poster.

Playing The Role Of Shravan

My first time on set for the official puja, basically the first day of shoot. And since me and Ranjeet weren't shooting, we just checked out both sets. The test shoot, which was the first time I played Shravan.

Party Shoot

The party shoot, which was shot over 3 nights and was nerve wracking and awesome in equal measure. We wrapped that up and were driving home when we saw that the posters were out.

Promo Shoot

So Ranjeet and me followed this bus, made it stop and then took pictures with it 😂😂😂 The official press conference. A 'deleted scene' if you will, from the second promo shoot. First time shooting in Shravans room and first time shooting in the dining area.

Shooting

The late packups and early call times started showing pretty early 🌚 One day before the show launched, we shot for 22 hours and were finding inventive ways to stay awake. And yes, this is the same scene as the test shoot.

Diwali & Holi Shoot

Another pic from the Juhu night. The party scene. Another night shoot, where we had to shoot a Diwali promo that I never really saw. Finished the Holi shoot and our faces pretty much tell the tale 😂. When I saw my cut out and realised it was taller than me!

Namik Thanks The Team

And the 'Malhotra Family' which has taught me so much ❤️ --- A sincere Thank You to everyone in this video, to Bindu Moving Images, to the directors, the production team and the rest of the crew. I'm really glad to be a part of your team 😊

He further wrote, "How you've made excuses for me when I've sucked, stood up for me when you didn't need to and made playing Shravan Malhotra an absolute joy. It's been one the best parts of the job, and that's saying something."

Namik has a great fan followering. We recently saw the entry of Ronit Kapil, who plays the role of Aditya. After his entry in Suman's life, Namik aka Shravan's fans have been hating Aditya, and supporting Shravan, by posting his famous dialogues on the social media.

The actor is active on social media. He keeps his fans updates by posting the on-the-sets pictures. He recently even thanked his fans, as the show completed 6 months successfully. He had also made a dubsmash debut on Instagram. The video featured Ronit and Geetanjali (Nirmala - Shravan's mother).

Apparently, Namik worked with a media house. But he decided to quit the job and try his luck in the showbiz industry. Like other actors, he also struggled to bag the first lead role!
