#LastDayOfEDKV: Ek Duje Ke Vaaste Team Wraps Up The Shoot! (PICS)
We had already informed about Ek Duje Ke Vaaste's last day (October 1) of the show. The team ended their day by cutting the cake and taking selfies with the co-actors, team and fans.
The whole team, especially the lead actors - Nikita Dutta and Namik Paul were emotional on the last day of their shoot. They had shared emotional messages on social media. Namik had been chatting with fans and he was even live on Periscope!
The Team Cut The Cake
The cake had these words written on it, "Honge Juda Na Hum... Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna... Khoobsurat Meethi Yaadein... Nikita Dutta Upset
In an interview, Nikita Dutta said, "I had hope of show's extension till the end moment. I think the destiny of the show was till here, and we can't do anything. But, all I can say is that my journey till here has been very beautiful. I have learnt a lot. We used to complain about our extra hour works and no holiday, but today after seeing the fans response, I feel everything is paid off."

She added that she is not the reason for the show going off air, but spilled a bean saying there could be some other inner reason that the outsiders might not know! The actress also thanked the fans for their love for the show and her character.
Shraddha Jaiswal
Posting a picture snapped with Anjali Mukhi and Ranjeet Singh, Shraddha wrote, "It's second last day of the shoot what do you want me to do ... Laugh???? @anjalimukhi we have done such cute scenes and I remember the improvisation we use to do and the way we use to laugh during the scenes aah!!! You are the best co-actor one can ask for ..."

Ronit's Snapchat
Ronit Kapil, who plays the role of Aditya was seen posing with Namik Paul (Shravan). It has to be seen what the makers have planned for the two brothers on the show!
We had already reported about the fans disappointment over the show's abrupt end. Even the team was upset that the channel's decision was not changed even after the fans' request.
It has to be recalled that the fans expressed their disappointment and anger on social media. They had also repeatedly mailed and called the channel as well as the production house, requesting them to extend the show. They had also started a petition as well as online drive #DontEndEDKV on social media. But nothing affected the channel as they stayed adamant on their stand!
A few fans also went to the Sony Entertainment office, but were disappointed as the security personnel didn't allow them to meet the concerned person.
In fact, at one point, it was even said that the show had got an extension. The fans were confused as a few media announced about the extension, while the producer of the show Dilip Jha and team were unaware of it, as it was not announced officially.
Now that the team has shot for the last episode and it is a happy ending, the fans expect the team especially, their Sumo and Shravan to be back with Season 2.
