Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani: Drashti Dhami Bids Adieu To The Show

Popular TV actress, Drashti Dhami aka Gayatri of Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani fame is reportedly no longer a part of the successful show. The show is all set to witness an 8-year leap soon.

Post the leap, child artistes Swar Hingonia and Mahima Joshi have been roped in to play the male and female leads, respectively.

While completing the last schedule of the show, Drashti took time from her last schedule and met the entire cast and crew of the show and even took selfies with them.

An excited Drashti told the IANS, "It was my last day (Saturday) of shoot and first for the kids who will play the younger generation post leap. Both the kids who are playing the role of Raja and Rani are absolutely adorable. I have clicked a few pictures with them and wished them good luck too. They have been the best co-stars I have ever had. I will miss the entire team."

Needless to say, we will miss her on the show too and we wish her all the best for her future projects!

Post the exit of the lead couple Siddharth Karnick and Drashti Dhami, the show is introducing a fresh cast and a different story line.

According to the latest update, the viewers will witness the story from Rani's point of view after the leap.
