Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani: Meet The New Star Cast Of The Show

Zee TV's popular soap opera Ek tha Raja Ek Thi Rani witnessed an 8-year leap in the show recently.

Owing to the exit of the lead pair Siddharth Karnick and Drashti Dhami who played Raja and Rani respectively, the makers have introduced a fresh cast.

Popular child actors Sagar Hingonia and Mahima Joshi have been in roped in as the new Raja and Rani.

Mahima Joshi is playing the role of Ranaji and Gayatri's daughter Sandhya. She is a chirpy girl and always full of life.

She is raised by Raj mata(Anita Raj) away from Ameerkot. As a result, she is unaware of her roots. Raj mata affectionately calls her as 'Rani'.

Meanwhile, the evil Kaal(Chetan Hansraj) is ruling the kingdom of Ameerkot. He has a son named Rishi, whom he calls Raja.

Rani comes to Ameerkot in search of work as her grandma is ill, and also falls short of money.

She comes in contact with Kaal and Badi Rani Maa(Surekha Sikhri) in the palace.

Will they get to know that Rani is Ranaji and Gayatri's daughter?
