After the reports of Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan making an appearance as the first guest of the dance reality show, there are rumours that Akshay Kumar will be seen on Jhalak to promote his upcoming film Rustom.
It is known to all that Manish Paul has been locked as the host of the show, but do you know that he has been paid a bomb! Apparently, the actor is getting Rs 2.5 Crores for the show, that's about Rs 7 Lakhs per episode! With this, Manish becomes the highest paid anchor on TV currently. The actor was getting Rs 1.5 Crore in the last season.
A source was quoted by a news portal as saying, "Manish has been associated with the show for five years and shares a warm equation with the production team of Jhalak. He is not just spontaneous and funny, but pretty flexible and accommodating too. So, when he asked for Rs 2.5 Crore as remuneration for hosting the upcoming season, the makers did not hesitate."
There are also reports that the show will begin from 30th July and will be aired once a week, i.e., on Saturdays, at 10 pm. It is also said that the show is going to air for around six months. The shoot for jJhalak will continue till October.
With the timeslot allotted for Jhalak, these questions arise - What will happen to Comedy Nights Bachao? If they are changing the slot, is there any possibility of another show, Comedy Nights Live going off air?
