A
few
television
personalities
like
Parth
Samthaan,
Vikas
Gupta,
Pratyusha
Banerjee
and
Ratan
Rajput
had
a
bad
start
in
the
year
2016
and
now
Kaala
Teeka
actor
Bhupinder
Singh
joins
the
list.
Apparently,
the
lead
actor
of
ZEE
TV's
show
Kaala
Teeka,
Bhupinder
slapped
55-year-old
production
head
of
the
show,
Rajendra
Upadhayay.
According
to
the
Tellychakkar
report,
Bhupinder
had
asked
for
a
cosmetic
solution
(used
to
enhance
the
looks
for
actors).
Since,
the
call
time
was
early,
shops
were
not
open.
The
actor
started
throwing
a
fit.
The
production
team
apologised
for
the
inconvenience
and
asked
Bhupinder
to
be
patient.
They
even
asked
him
to
commence
shooting.
But
Bhupinder
didn't
stop
and
started
hurling
abuses
at
the
production
head
Rajendra.
Shockingly,
when
Rajendra
tried
to
confront
Bhupinder,
the
latter
pushed
and
slapped
Rajendra!
Looking
into
the
seriousness
of
the
issue,
the
Federation
of
Western
India
Cine
Employees
(FWICE),
immediately
took
action
and
decided
to
ban
Bhupinder
from
any
professional
assignment
for
the
next
three
months!
Upset
with
the
whole
incident,
Rajendra
was
quoted
by
Tellychakkar
as
saying,
"I
am
saddened
by
the
behaviour.
I
have
been
working
in
the
industry
for
the
last
20
years
with
DJ's.
Never
ever
someone
behaved
so
rudely
with
me.
People
should
be
professional,
not
get
personal.
I
was
not
being
arrogant,
I
was
trying
to
help
him,
but
he
chose
to
be
brash."
The
Member
of
Dispute
Committee
CINTAA,
Amit
Behl
confirmed
the
incident.
He
was
quoted
by
the
website
as
saying,
"Yes,
it's
true
that
Bhupinder
slapped
a
production
guy
on
the
set.
The
Federation
(FWICE)
has
taken
action
already,
and
the
actor
has
been
banned
for
three
months."
He
added,
"Bhupinder
is
now
coming
to
the
CINTAA
office
to
meet
us.
But
we
do
not
know
whether
the
ban
can
be
revoked.
It
is
a
Catch
22
situation
as
the
producers
do
not
even
have
today's
telecast
ready,
and
that
means
the
actor
cannot
shoot."
