The Kapil Sharma Show: Kapil Talks About Shahrukh Khan, PM Narendra Modi, CNL & Colors!

Kapil Sharma and his Comedy Nights With Kapil team launched the new show - The Kapil Sharma Show at an event. The show, which features Kapil, Ali Asgar, Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Chandan Prabhakar and Sumona Chakravarti, will be aired on Sony Entertainment Television on April 23.

1. When asked if Shahrukh Khan will appear in the first episode of his new show - Kapil said, "Even I heard he will come on the show. I did call him but he did not answer. We are doing a live show in Delhi first ...he (SRK) is from Delhi and has 'Fan' releasing soon so he might come. We would love to have him on the show."

2. Kapil wishes to have PM Narendra Modi on his show. He says if Mr Modi is on the show, they would love to know how a man from a small town has come this far and became the PM of our country. It's an inspirational story to share with the fans.

3. When asked about the legal issues in reprising the characters of CNWK on the new show, Kapil was quoted by PTI as saying, "They are masters in disguise... you will see them in different garb. They might be back (as Dadi, Palak and Gutthi)." He added that they will do better than these characters.

4. When asked about Comedy Nights Live, Kapil said that it is not important to differentiate between the two shows. He trusts his team as they are talented. They will do their best and work with honesty.

5. Kapil even said that he has seen the first episode of Krushna's CNL. He said, they (Krushna team) are doing differently, but his team is focusing on work. When asked to comment on Krushna's dig at him (Kapil), Kapil said, "We would not do that. We would focus on our work."

6. Last but not the least, Kapil opened up on controversy with Colors. He accepts that they had some differences. He said that everything happens for good. About Upasana Singh, he said that she had her choice, and also had contract issues.
