Lovebirds Siddhant Karnick and Megha Gupta got hitched in a hush-hush affair on August 16, 2016. The couple decided to keep it simple and avoided all the celebrations, as they opted for a registered marriage.

The reason behind this is the sudden death of Megha's father due to a heart attack last month. The couple were all set to tie the knot on September 1, but preponed their wedding date.

The couple exchanged the rings on May 12 at US Club, Colaba in the presence of very close friends and family members.But, the media tried to capture the glimpses of the event, but in vain.

Sealed The Deal

Megha shared a lovely message on Instagram post her engagement which read, " He took my heart.. So I am taking his last name. Meet my fiance - Siddhant Karnick. Sealed the deal on 12.5.16."

Happy Married Life

The couple will head to Canada for Siddhant's cousin's wedding. He told a leading entertainment portal that, "Relatives from my dad's side live there and we are all getting together for this trip. Of course, Megha's presence is being looked forward to as she is now our bahu. Post the wedding, we might do some touring across Canada."

Siddhant confirmed the news of their wedding to a leading entertainment portal. He told, "Yes, we opted to go with registered marriage as we wanted to keep it a low affair due to the sudden demise of Megha's dad. Celebrations will happen later on."
