Pratyusha Banerjee Death: Here Is What Rahul’s Ex-GF Saloni Sharma Has To Say In Her Defence!

From the day Pratyusha Banerjee's suicide came to light, Rahul Raj Singh and his ex-girlfriend Saloni Sharma are under the scanner. Although Rahul had been questioned, his ex-girlfriend's statements were not taken, which became the matter of debate. Now the actress has come forward to clear all the allegations made against her.

Saloni admitted that she hit Pratyusha but it was in retaliation after being hit by Pratyusha and Rahul first. She was quoted by TOI as saying, "I was done with them and was trying to move on but it was my money (that she had given Rahul to run an event management firm) I was concerned about. Rahul wasn't paying me back... It made me angry and I landed there to ask for my dues."

She further added, "On seeing me, Pratyusha and Rahul both assaulted me and physically kicked me out of the flat. I was hysterical and refused to leave the premises. So they came down and that's when I hit them back out of utter humiliation."

Saloni also said that she withdrew the charges of assault and cheating as the couple requested her. She even said that the one who handled her case were the police who are handling the suicide case now.

The actress further said that she was waiting to give her statement, and was silent till now, as she didn't want to seek publicity over someone's death. She added, "At the same time, I'm forced to speak because a lot has been said about me by those who have never met me and know nothing about what went on between Rahul-Pratyusha and me."

Saloni even said that she had also called the police the next day after the incident and offered to record her statement or any help they wanted from her, as her name was dragged into the case and her past was showcased as the prime cause for the tragedy.
