Saathiya: After Devoleena Bhattacharjee & Pubali Sanyal, Now Amar Upadhyay To Exit The Show!

The number one show of Star Plus, Saath Nibhana Saathiya is in news these days. Apparently, there were rumours of an upcoming leap in the show, and Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who plays the role of Gopi, would have been shown as a grandmother!

Gopi's daughter Vidya is pregnant, and she might have to play the grandmother's role. Devoleena is not happy, she was quoted by a leading daily as saying, "Isn't it enough that a young woman like me is playing mother to such grown-up girls? I was patient so far. But I certainly won't be comfortable playing a grandmother. I will wait till the creative team takes a decision. If they take a leap, I will quit."

Also, Pubali Sanyal, who plays the role of Durga, Dharam's first wife too, is quitting the show. According to a website, the actress is serving the notice period.

Not only this, the latest reports also confirm Dharam aka Amar Upadhyay's exit! It is sad because the audiences loved Dharam and Meera's jodi; and the character is ending all of sudden!

The actor was quoted by IANS as saying, "Initially I thought they will build the chemistry more amongst the two and when I got to know about this, I was also shocked but it is okay. I trust the makers and I'm sure whatever they are doing is as per the requirement of the script."

Amar further added, "I don't know if I will be brought back in the show but for now heavy schedule has taken a toll on my health so for now I'm going to take proper rest which is much required."

Well, the reports of sudden exit of so many characters of the top show, is really shocking! Let's wait and watch what the makers are planning big for the audiences!
