Oops! Mandap Collapses At Sanaya Irani-Mohit Sehgal’s Beach Wedding – PICS
The most awaited grand beach wedding of Sanaya Irani and Mohit Seghal took place on January 25 at Planet Hollywood Hotel in Goa. The couple got married in Goa and a beautiful mandap was set up near the beach. But things didn't go well as they expected.
Apparently, during pheras, the stage (mandap) couldn't take the load of many people on it and the four poles of the mandap collapsed! Luckily, no one was hurt and the marriage rituals proceeded without any other problem.

We had already reported about the pre-wedding ceremonies, that happened a day before the wedding. Both bride and groom's families played volley ball match. A cocktail cum sangeet event was organised for close friends and family members.
The wedding was attended by, Sanaya's best buddy Drashti Dhami, Raqesh Vashishth, Ridhi Dogra, Arjun Bijlani with wife Neha Swami, Daljeet Kaur, Barun Sobti with wife Pashmeen Manchanda, Akshay Dogra with wife Sakshi, Kinshuk Mahajan and Roshni Chopra.
Popular Bollywood songs were played and everybody enjoyed the music. They danced throughout the night. Not only the guests, even the bride and groom danced their heart out. The outfits of Sanaya Irani's wedding attire has been designed by Roshni Chopra. Sanaya wore a golden lehenga for her beach wedding and a white gown for the reception.
An eyewitness was quoted by a leading daily as saying, "Sanaya and Mohit had a Punjabi wedding complete with all the rituals on a beach. Sanaya looked resplendent in a red lehenga. On one occasion, the excited bride was also upset with Mohit for delaying the baraat by half an hour."
Sanaya and Mohit first met on the sets of TV show Miley Jab Hum Tum. Their friendship blossomed into love. The couple dated for over five years. (Click on the slides to view images)
