Shaheer Sheikh Wins 'Star Of The Year' Award' At The Asiavision TV Awards Held In Dubai!

Television heart-throb Shaheer Sheikh, who plays the role of Dev Dixit in Sony's Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, couldn't be more happier than this! The handsome actor who is winning accolades for the portrayal of Dev from all over, has one more reason to celebrate!

The actor won a prestigious award at an award ceremony in Dubai! Yes, you have heard it right. Shaheer bagged the 'Star Of The Year' award at the Asiavision TV Awards, held in Dubai on 19 August, 2016.

Shaheer's co-star Erica was super thrilled about his achievement and took to Instagram to congratulate him on his success. She wrote, "Proud momemt !! Yayyie congrats @shaheersheikh... you've made us proud ... Won the STAR OF THE YEAR award at ASIAVISON TV awards in dubai#superhero."

When quizzed about Shaheer's big win, she told, "Well I put it up because I am proud of his achievement. As a co star and part of the team, we are all very proud of him."

The show is riding high on the wave of success. The show might not be topping the TRP charts, but, is winning the hearts of millions for the realistic take on the relationships.

Shaheer and Erica's chemistry has become the talk of the town. The duo has garnered a massive fan following for the perfect portrayal of their roles.

Erica, who plays Dr. Sonakshi Bose on the show, is receiving a lot of gifts from her fans and she shared the same on Instagram. In the recent episodes, she wore a a green kurta and a pair of jhumkas gifted to her by the fans (image below).
