Was Colors’ Naagin Extended Because Of Sony’s The Kapil Sharma Show?

We had already reported about the Colors' numero uno show, Naagin that was to go off air this month was extended for another month! It was said that the gaining popularity of the show is the main reason.

Now, we get to know that it is because of TRP and the Channel's competation with the new show on Sony, The Kapil Sharma Show, that is stopping the Channel to dismiss the show!

A source was quoted by SpotBoye as saying, "Colors does not want to lose Naagin's weekend TRP bonanza. Though the two shows don't fall in the same time slot (while the Sony show is aired in the 9-10 pm slot, Naagin is telecast from 8 to 9 pm), Naagin plays a big role in Colors' weekend ratings."

According to the reports, The Kapil Sharma Show bagged 3 ratings, while Naagin got 4.8 TRP ratings on 24th April. We must say Kapil Sharma's show is not far from beating Naagin!

With the extension of the show, Adaa was quoted by SpotBoye as saying, "The show has suddenly got an extension and so, hum bus shoot kiye jaa rahe hain."

A few days back, elated Arjun Bijlani took to Instagram and posted a video which featured him, Adaa and Mouni Roy dancing for the song, 'Jane nahi denge tujhe'. Whatsoever may be the reason, Naagin fans are excited to watch the upcoming episodes and are happy that the show is extended. Well, they can wait for Ekta Kapoor's another show, Kavach... What say guys?
