In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Akshara gets to know that Gayu loves Kartik. Naira and Kartik get stuck in a fire mishap. Naira and Naitik save Kartik.
In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Gayu and Naira's love for Kartik (Mohsin Khan) is going to put Akshara and Naitik in a dilemma. The duo doesn't know that their daughters love the same guy.
During Karva Chauth festival, Rama finds out that Gayu observed fast for Kartik and broke the fast by seeing his picture. She approves Gayu and Kartik's love as she feels Kartik is a nice person. Naira overhears the conversation and gets sad.
Akshara Confused!
Akshara goes to Naira and Gayu's rooms to get flowers and pooja items. She finds Gayu's diary, which has a love song written in it, while in Naira's room, she finds frogs made with papers.
Akshara Worried
She also gets a heart shaped crystal and ‘I Love You Kartik' written on it and will be shocked as well as confused. She decides to ask her daughters.

Akshara confronts Naira and Gayu to find out the truth. She asks Gayu and Naira, what is going on.
Gayu Hugs Akshara
But, before Naira could say anything, Gayu rushes towards Akshara and hugs her. She cries and confesses her love for Kartik. Naira looks on.
Naira Breaks Down
After Akshara gets to know about Gayu's love for Kartik, Naira is hurt. Naira breaks down, as she also loves Kartik and has been missing him. Naira decides to sacrifice her love for Gayu.
Akshara Speaks To Naitik
Akshara tells Naitik about Gayu and Kartik's love. Naira also joins them. It has to be seen how the family members reveal the same to Kartik. Will Kartik agree?

In the upcoming episode, Naira finds Kartik sitting in a tea stall. She confronts Kartik and asks him to move on, as she gets to know Gayu loves Kartik. He gets angry and leaves the place.
Kartik & Naira Stuck
But, Kartik and Naira gets stuck in the place, as the cracker shop catches fire. People run around, and Naira will be seen surrounded by fire. Both try to save each other.
Kartik Faints; Naira & Naitik To Save Kartik
But, Kartik faints and Naitik comes on time to the place and save them. Naitik will be shocked to see Naira crying and Kartik unconsciously lying lying unconscious on the ground. Gayu and Naitik take Kartik to the hospital.

In

episode,
we
saw
that
everyone
was
concerned
about
Gayu
as
she
had
observed
the
fast
and
becomes
weak.
Naitik
is
upset
and
worries
about
Gayu.
Naira
convinces
Naitik
that
Gayu
is
fine.
On her mother's (Rashmi) birthday, Gayu recalls her mother and cries. Akshara and Naitik console her and tells her that her mother would be upset with them, if she see her daughter unhappy.
On the other hand, Naira tells Rama that she will speak about Gayu and Kartik to Akshara, the next day. Rama is happy thinking Akshara will handle the matter with care.
Naira is upset as she loves Kartik, but seeing Gayu, she decides to sacrifice her love.
Naira also imagines Kartik and she will be seen speaking to him. She will be seen sharing intimate moments with him, in her delusion.
Meanwhile, Kartik meets a girl in the hotel, whose name is also Naira. He recalls Naira and gets sad. He gets upset thinking that although, he is trying to forget her, he is not able to! He meets Kriti in the hotel.
Apparently, Kirit is his sister. She will be seen having a troubled relationship and discusses the same with her brother.
