In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Akshara's (Hina Khan) death has shattered everyone in the Singhania and Maheshwari families. Everyone is trying to come out of the situation, while Naira (Shivnagi Joshi) is trying to manage things around.
Naira is handling the situation, just like how Akshara used to do, and the family members are also supporting her. Naira decides to take care of Naitik's business. Kartik helps Naira. He goes to Naitik's office and solves all problems at office, as he was doing before. Naira is impressed.

Kartik meets Naira in the office cabin and they share their usual nhok-jhok. They also share a romantic moment at office.
Kartik's Dadi
Kartik's Dadi gets to know about Naira and Kartik's affair. Although she doesn't like Naira, for her grandson's sake and also to save her family's reputation, she decides to get Kartik married.
Dadi Takes Shagun
Kartik's Dadi, along with Suvarna, takes 'shagun' to Naira's house. The Singhania family members are shocked seeing Kartik's Dadi and the shagun, but they welcome Goenka family members.
Naira Refuses To Marry Kartik
Naira, who is still struggling to come out of her mother Akshara's death, refuses the marriage proposal shocking everybody.
Naira Do Not Want To Become Selfish!
Naira feels that she can't become selfish thinking about her love now, as the family is going through difficult situation, and hence, refuses the proposal.
Dadi Feels Insulted!

In

previous
episode,
we
saw
how
Naira
gets
into
problem
because
of
clients.
The
clients
do
not
give
her
time
and
wants
their
work
to
be
completed
immediately.
On the other hand, Luv and Kush tell Kartik that they liked Naira. Kartik is happy and hugs them.
Kartik decides to join Manish and Akhilesh in business. Manish and the other family members are happy, but Dadi is upset that Kartik is always thinking about Naira and listens only to her.
Manish announces bonus to his employees as Kartik has joined him in the office. But his happiness was for a short while as Kartik rushes to help Naira at Naitik's office.
Kartik manages the clients and solves their problem. Naira and Naitik are happy to see Kartik back, while Manish and Kartik's Dadi are upset as Kartik is more concerned about Naira's family than his family!
Dadi decides to get Kartik married to stop him.
