CONFIRMED! Karan Tacker To Host Nach Baliye 8!

The fresh season of dance reality show Nach Baliye 8 is in news these days. We had already reported about the celebrity contestants who confirmed or rejected the offer. We had also reported that Karan Tacker might replace Karan Singh Grover as a host on the show.

It has to be recalled that Karan Singh Grover was approached initially. It was also said that his wife Bipasha Basu will also be seen in special episode. But, according to the reports from a leading daily, a source from the channel had mentioned that there were plenty of creative differences with the duo. Karan Tacker also confirmed that he will be seen hosting the show.

Karan Tacker was quoted by a leading daily as saying, "This is the first time I will see it that too live. The format is being altered slightly; it'll be a little more straight-jacketed but fun."

The actor has taken a break from daily soaps. He was last seen in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (2013). He further added that he is waiting for so mething that will make him want to act again.

Karan feels reality shows are fun as they do not require them to shoot for long time. Also, it doesn't get monotonous.

He was quoted by the leading daily as saying, "You can jump from one show to another once the season ends. Whereas in a series you've to stick to the same character graph for a couple of years. I've hosted The Voice before and had participated in Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa."

He added, "I was terrified of dancing and was pathetic at it. My schooling happened on the show and I went on to be one of the runners up. Now I love dancing, and I'm sure I'll have a couple of performances on Nach Baliye too."
