IT'S CONFIRMED! Leenesh Mattoo Is Not Quitting Ishqbaaz!
As per the latest reports, Leenesh Mattoo aka Rudra Singh Oberoi is not quitting Star Plus' popular show, Ishqbaaz.
Recently, we had reported that actor Leenesh Mattoo has decided to quit Ishqbaaz as he was not happy with the way his role was shaping up in the show. After this news broke out, fans were completely berserk and even requested him not to quit the show.
Soon after this, it was reported that Subha Rajput, who plays the role of Priyanka has quit the show and is currently serving her notice period. The actress confirmed her exit and stated the reason behind quitting the show, Apparently, she was unhappy with her role, too.
Now, here's some good news for all the fans! Although, Leenesh has neither confirmed nor denied the reports about his supposed exit, we hear that the actor is not quitting the show. Read on to know more...
Leenesh Mattoo Bagged Another Show
As per the reports by a leading entertainment portal, Leenesh had apparently bagged a lead in the Colors' upcoming show, Savitri Devi College Aur Hospital helmed by Rashmi Sharma.
Leenesh Was Serving His Notice Period
The report states that, "When Leenesh talked about this to Star and also to the production house, they apparently decided to relieve him off his duties. Leenesh soon was serving his notice period when the unexpected happened."
Colors Didn't Take Leenesh In
"For some reason, the rival channel (Colors) did not want to take him in and he was notified of the same. And this ultimately resulted in Leenesh staying back to find more glory in Ishqbaaz."
Star Didn't Want Leenesh To Quit Ishqbaaz
Furthermore, "Star actually did not relieve Leenesh off duties, as they did not want their prime actor to move out and find greener pastures in a rival channel. Hence the thought of Leenesh quitting Ishqbaaz ended then and there."
Varun Kapoor Roped In For The New Show
For the uninitiated, the role which was earlier offered to Leenesh has now landed in Varun Kapoor's lap. After all, he has long association with the channel and the producer Rashmi Sharma after their successful outing, Swaragini.
