Kapil Sharma Did Not Refuse To Promote Sunil Grover’s Film On The Kapil Sharma Show!

Recently, there were reports that Kapil Sharma is not happy with Sunil Grover making his entry to Bollywood, and hence he has refused to promote Sunil's film Coffee With D on The Kapil Sharma Show!

But, Sunil Grover has come out in open to clear the rumours. While talking to an entertainment portal, Sunil said that Kapil is his friend and is very happy that he is doing films.

Apparently, Sunil's Punjabi Vaisakhi List got only five minutes on the show. When asked about the same, Sunil was quoted by the entertainment portal as saying, "There is nothing of that sort. This is bakwaas baat. People are just saying this for publicity."

He further cleared that the promotions of his new film will not happen on the show and it is not because of Kapil Sharma. He said, "Yes, the promotion of Coffee With D on The Kapil Sharma Show is not happening. However, Kapil did not refuse it. Anything of that sort did not happen. Kapil did not say a No."

Sunil added, "There were some issues about execution and time crunch. The Kapil Sharma Show is my show. I am not an outsider. I can also have a call on my film's promotion. It is my call that the film does not get promoted on The Kapil Sharma Show."

The actor further said, "Decisions are taken creatively. Zakir Bhai (Zakir Hussain) who plays D in the film did not have the dates. This happens on many occasions when an entire team of a film can't make it. Clashes happen and an episode cannot be shot."

Well, we just hope it is true and all is well between Sunil and Kapil.
