Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover's mid-air scuffle is making headlines. The fight has intensified so much that both Sunil Grover and Chandan Prabhakar have stopped shooting for The Kapil Sharma Show. There are also reports that Sunil has quit the show.
Although, Navjot Singh Sidhu wants to continue doing television, the Congress want him out of The Kapil Sharma Show. (It has to be recalled that Sidhu recently took charge as the Cabinet Minister for Local Government, Tourism and Cultural Affairs in the new Congress government in Punjab.)

The Kapil Sharma Show is the only show on Sony that has been fetching TRPs. Now the channel is concerned about the show and do not want to take a risk.
Sony Wants Kapil To Sort Out Issue With Sunil?
Apparently, the channel is forcing Kapil to get the issue sorted as they fear they might lose audiences if Sunil quits the show. May be this is the reason why Kapil apologised to Sunil!
Sunil's Exit Might Affect The Show
A source was quoted by DNA as saying, "Sony is fearing huge losses because a chunk of the target audiences tune in on the show to watch Sunil. Last time, when Sunil left Comedy Nights, the TRPs had dropped badly."

"This is the only show on Sony which is working really well. So the makers don't really want to take a risk. Hence they have asked Kapil to go ahead and get the issue sorted."
Has Sunil Asked For Price Hike?
There are also reports that Sunil has asked for a price hike! According to BollywoodLife sources, "Sunil has demanded a substantial hike in his salary if the production team wants him back on the show. He is no way letting Kapil go off easy after whatever went down between them."

"From what we hear the hike that Sunil has demanded can give any producer sleepless nights. Well, this is what they call paying for your sins, maybe."
Is There Any Co-producer Issue Also On The Show?
According to India-Forums report, "Kapil has asked the co-producer of The Kapil Sharma show, Frames Productions to take a backseat and has invited the producer from his upcoming Bollywood movie, Firangi to step into the co-producer's shoes." But, the producer of Frames Productions, Hemant Ruprell has refuted the rumour.
Sydney & Melbourne Public Upset!
According to the Spotboye report, the show in Sydney and Melbourne started off very late and public was upset. Bhaskar Ratnam (who was the promoter of Kapil's shows in Sydney and Melbourne) said that it was not Kapil's fault as he had to change the script.
If you notice the last two weeks' overall TRP ratings of the shows, The Kapil Sharma Show has dropped down. If Sunil and Chandan too quit the show, the show might get into serious trouble.
For the uninitiated, Kapil assaulted his co-actor Sunil Grover and misbehaved with his childhood friend Chandan Prabhakar, when they were returning from Melbourne and Sydney after finishing a stage show. Apparently, Kapil was drunk and walked up to Sunil and started hurling abuses. Kapil said to Sunil, "Tu mera naukar hai, tere show flop tha...."
