Kapil Sharma recently was in news for his engagement. The actor had introduced his love Ginni Chatrath to his fans on social media. He had also revealed that he is planning to get married to her probably next year.
Immediately after this news, there was another rumour that said Kapil hit co-star Sunil Grover on an Air India flight! Well, this is not the first time that Kapil and Sunil are in news. Previously too, there were rumours that Kapil refused to promote Sunil's film Coffee With D on TKSS! Read on to know about the recent incident....
Kapil Sharma-Sunil Grover Spat
This incident happened when they were returning from Melbourne and Sydney after finishing a stage show. Apparently, Kapil (in an inebriated state) walked up to Sunil and started hurling abuses. Kapil said to Sunil, "Tu Mera Naukar hai, tere show flop tha...".
Kapil-Sunil Flight Fight!
He also held Sunil by his collar and raised his hand on him. Sunil stayed mum. The team came to Sunil's rescue and took Kapil away! After this incident, Kapil and Sunil unfollowed each other on Twitter.
Eye-Witness' Statement...
A flight attendant was quoted by an entertainment portal as saying, "Kapil and his team were travelling from Australia to Mumbai via Delhi when this incident took place. When Kapil entered the flight, he was not in a good mood."
Flight Attendant Added....
"In fact, he also misbehaved with his passenger fans including a nine year old girl. Not only with Sunil Grover, Kapil also misbehaved with his other co-star Chandan Prabhakar."
Kapil Was Drunk!
The flight attendant further added, "Kapil was already drunk before he boarded the flight. He kept asking for more and more drink and he lost his control after few drinks."
Kapil Abused Chandan & Sunil!
"First, he abused his co-star Chandan Prabhakar and then Sunil Grover. He abused Sunil saying that his show was a flop show. He physically assaulted him too."
Kapil's Team Members Controlled The Situation...
"The passengers who witnessed this incident also asked to emergency landing. But then, Kapil's team members took control of the whole incident."
Sunil Didn't Comment, But Kapil Said...
While Sunil Grover chose not to comment on the incident, Kapil Sharma was quoted by Bollywood Life as saying, "Mujhe yaad nahi (I don't remember)."
Kapil Further Added...
"Actually hamari har flight mein ladai hoti hai (We fight on every flight)... Har jagah ladai hoti hai (We fight everywhere)... It is a healthy fight... We fight for work... We fight for good work."
Kapil Made Vidya Balan Wait For 6 Hrs
It is known that Vidya Balan was on the show along with her Begum Jaan co-stars - Gauahar Khan, Illa Arun and Pallavi Sharda. According to Spotboye report, Kapil kept Vidya Balan waiting for six hours!
Vidya Walked Out...
Apparently, Vidya was waiting for the shoot, and since the shoot didn't start even after waiting for six hours, she decided to walk out.
Vidya Was Called Back...
But, when Vidya was in a car, she apparently got a call from Kapil, who told that they were finally ready to shoot. Since Vidya was keen on promoting her film, she drove back to the sets and shot for The Kapil Sharma Show!
This is not the first time that Kapil is making a Bollywood actor wait! Previously, he had made Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor (who were on TKSS to promote OK Jaanu), wait for almost five hours! According to reports, it was only when Shraddha threatened to walk out the shoot started and went on till late night!
It has to be recalled that even Karan Johar was hurt with Kapil Sharma's comment at an awards ceremony. Apparently, Karan and Kapil were hosting the event together. Karan was supposed to hand over the stage to another host. It was then Kapil told Karan, "You are my assistant and you may leave now." This had irked Karan!
Previously, an event organising company had accused Kapil Sharma of acting too pricey.
The actor and comedian had bagged the seventh place in Forbes Celebrity 100 list. He has two Bollywood projects. He has also renewed his contract with Sony Entertainment Television for The Kapil Sharma Show.
