It is difficult for the actors to take time out for their family. But Ankita made sure that she spent time with her husband on the special day. Apparently, Ankita had informed the production house two months in advance about the leave so that Karan got eight days off from his shoot.
The Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actor was quoted by a leading daily as saying, "Ankita is a sweetheart. She would've left no stone unturned to make sure I get to celebrate our anniversary away from the madness."
The holiday was a surprise planned by Ankita but Karan guessed it! He added, "Ankita wanted to tell me once they reached the airport and they were checking in but her plan failed as I guessed it way before. But it was good in a way as I could then pack my luggage appropriately (laughs!)."
Ankita and Karan are active on social media and they keep their fans updated with their pictures.
