About Other Chandrakanta In The Making…

Kritika says that she got to know about the other Chandrakanta after she started shooting. She clarified that the competition is between the two channels and this will not dent her relationship with Ekta Kapoor, who had given her memorable shows.

When asked if she had watched original series to prepare for the role, the actress was quoted by another leading daily as saying, "No, I watched Chandrakanta as a child but have consciously stayed away from watching it now because I want to give the role my own interpretation. I don't want to have references because then you repeat them."

It has to be recalled that Kritika was recently seen on a short film 'White Shirt' alongside Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor. Kritika feels that online projects are more fun and the content is livelier. They also get to experiment more.

Coming back to Chandrakanta, the show will also feature Gaurav Khanna, who will be seen as Virendra Singh. Ankit Arora will portray the role of King Shivdutt. Chandan Aanand will play the role of Krur Singh and Sudesh Berry will be seen as Marich.
