As we had reported earlier, a high-voltage drama is awaited in your favourite show, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. In a fit of rage, Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) will slap his father-in-law, Bejoy in the upcoming episodes.
This slapping incident came as a shock to all the loyal fans of the show. They strongly opposed Dev's extreme reaction and has condemned the show's track. In an interview to a leading entertainment portal, producer Yash Patnaik spoke about the upcoming 'Dev slapping Bejoy' sequence. Read on to know what he has to say...
The Producer Says...
He said, "The audiences' feedback is very important but that we can't write every character keeping Lord Ram's character in mind. It is only in situations like these that we can show the dynamism of a character."
'It Is A Well Thought Out Track' Says Yash
Furthermore, "It is a well thought out track depicting the equations between both the families. Altercations can happen if there is a 'mistake' in the storyline. That's not the case here. If I start showing everything that's real, I'll have to make a documentary; will the audience watch it then,?" asks the producer.
Writer Durjoy Datta Speaks Up
KRPKAB's screenplay writer Durjoy Datta also opened up about the issue. In fact, he takes the entire incident as a positive sign. He told, "The fact that the people are reacting so strongly to the show means that they are engaging with it."
'Meant To Have Complications'
"It was never a show with frothy relationships, it was meant to have complications," concludes the writer. It seems like the show's makers are unwavering in their approach.

All About The Slapping Drama...
It so happens that both the Dixit and the Bose families will be involved in a heated argument over Dev giving a hefty amount to Saurabh. The Dixits will accuse Bejoy of tricking Dev and Bejoy will lash out at Ishwari.
The angry young man that he is, Dev will lose control over the matter and ends up slapping his father-in-law in front of both the families.

The show has always been realistic in its approach and less dramatic compared to the other shows, the very 'sanskari' and obedient Dev Dixit losing his temper and the entire 'Dev slapping Bejoy' sequence couldn't connect with the viewers. Hence, they denounced the upcoming track.
Nonetheless, the show has a very large fanbase and is hugely popular amongst the viewers! We can only hope that the show's popularity soars even high and continues to entertain the viewers...
