Chandrakanta: It’s Nia Sharma Vs Kritika Kamra!

We had recently reported that there are two Chandrakanta shows are in the making. Nikhil Sinha's Chandrakanta will be aired on Life OK, while Ekta Kapoor's Chandrakanta will be telecasted on Colors TV. For Nikhil's show, Kritika Kamra has been locked to play the lead role.

Now, there are reports that Ekta Kapoor's Chandrakanta will have Nia Sharma! Along with Nia, other stars who have been considered for the show are Mrunal Jain, Rajbeer Singh and Dhruv Bhandari. Reportedly, the actors were seen rehearsing for the show!

Nikhil's show will apparently cast Gaurav Khanna (lead role) and Chandan K Anand (as Kroor Singh).

While Nia is yet to give any statements regarding the show, Kritika had said that she has already started preparing for the show.

Regarding two channels making the same show, Kritika had said that she was unaware of it. She was quoted by the leading daily as saying, "The rivalry could be between the channels or the production houses, but not between Ekta and me. We are friends and I'm sure she would be happy for me."

She added, "Also, the fact that there are two shows will make the competition interesting. In the end, good content will win the audience's heart. Having said that, I want both the shows to do well."

No doubt, both Kritika and Nia are the beautiful and talented actresses in the television industry. Kritika has a little more experience than Nia. It will be an advantage for her, but again Nia is no less than Kritika. Nia has bagged No. 3 position in the Top 50 Sexiest Asian Women List by British-based Eastern Eye newspaper. So, it will be tough competition among the two actresses!
