Sushant's Journey From Television To Bollywood....

Apparently, Sushant was spotted by the Balaji Telefilms' casting team while he was on stage for one of Ekjute's plays. He was invited to the auditions and then he bagged the first show Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil (2008), in which he played the role of Preet Lalit Juneja. Although, his character was killed quite early on the show, his character became so popular that he was brought back for the series finale in the form of a spirit!

Later, he bagged a major role in Balaji's next show Pavitra Rishta (2009). He played the role of Manav. He was seen opposite Ankita Lokhande (as Archana). Sushant and Ankita's jodi was an instant hit among the audiences. The couple also dated for a long time, unfortunately the duo broke up.

Sushant had also joined the dance reality show Zara Nachke Dikha 2 (May 2010) and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4 (December 2010).

In October 2010, Sushant quit Pavitra Rishta, to pursue a film-making course abroad. There was no stopping the actor after that.

In Bollywood, the actor is giving back to back hits! He also has a few projects in hand. But, it has to be seen, whether he will be back to the small screens. We are sure that the viewers are missing Sushant on the small screens. What say guys?
