The actor was quoted by the leading daily as saying, "I'm here to work, not to have an argument with somebody and walk out of shows."
After Sunil, Ali & Chandan Too Exit The Show
Post his exit, other two comedians-actors Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar too, left the show. The show is suffering low TRPs.
The makers and people believe that it is because Sunil and others left, the show is suffering.

For this, Sunil said, "Ratings are not in anybody's control. Even I have done a show (Mad in India on Star Plus), where the ratings didn't meet expectations. If I was good with that system, I'd be working every day and doing 10 shows."

While Kiku Sharda took to Twitter and thanked Sunil and others by tagging them, Kapil had indirectly thanked Sunil and others (on the show) who were currently not with them.
Sunil had responded by saying that he is lucky that he got an opportunity to be part of the show and will always have gratitude towards the show.
