Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Spoiler: Major Drama During Kartik & Naira’s Engagement Ceremony!

In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the Goenka, Singhania and Maheshwari families are all set for Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira (Shivangi Joshi) marriage. The viewers will witness major drama during Kartik and Naira's engagement ceremony.

It is known to all that Kartik and his parents (Manish and Suvarna) are not in good terms. He doesn't like his father or mother to interfere in his life, while Naira wants Kartik to support his family. The duo had already had a clash regarding the same issue before. Now, during Kartik and Naira's engagement, the duo will again get into an argument over the same! Check out the spoilers...

Naira

We had already reported about the problems that Naira would be facing because of different traditions. Kartik's Dadi will be orthodox and Kartik loves his Dadi.

Kartik's Dadi Wants Naira To Change Her Name

As we revealed earlier, Kartik's Dadi wants Naira to change her name to Sumedha according to kundali. Naira and her family would oppose, while Kartik interferes in between and assures Dadi that they will do what is good for all.

Naira & Kartik's Engagement Ceremony

In the upcoming episode, for the engagement ceremony, Kartik will be getting a simple ring for Naira. He would have brought the ring from his earnings/savings.

But, Kartik's father Manish would oppose the same. He wants his daughter-in-law (Naira) to wear a stunning diamond ring (that reminds the others of their status) in the engagement.

Manish will be upset with Kartik. And as usual, Kartik doesn't like his father's interference and would get into an argument. The family members will be in a dilemma as to whom to support.

Naira would step in between and ask Kartik to obey his father. She tries to convince Kartik. She tells him that he can gift her the same ring on any other special occasion.

Story So Far...

In the previous episode, we saw how Naira would rush towards Goenka villa to save Kush, who was locked in the cupboard. The Goenka family, especially Dadi will be shocked to see Naira in the house.

Naira will be in her night dress and would have applied a face pack. She doesn't care about her look and rushes to save Kush. Naira would have also stepping on 'kumkum water' and made her gruhpravesh before marriage. Although, it was for a good work, it doesn't go well with Kartik's Dadi as she was concerened about the traditions.

Dadi would call the pandit to rectify Naira's mistake. The pandit would suggest Dadi to change Naira's name to Sumedha.
Later, Kartik's Dadi arranges for a pooja at Goenka house and invites Naira and her family members. She even gets a government official for name registration! Naira's family members will be shocked when they get to know about the name change.
