However,
Bigg
Boss
made
the
headlines
recently
after
former
contestants
made
a
shocking
statement
about
the
Salman
Khan's
show
and
said
that
people
have
suffered
from
severe
depression
after
participating
in
the
show.
The
revelation
was
made
by
Bigg
Boss
7
contestants
Shilpa
and
Apurva
Agnihotri.
During
a
conversation
with
ETimes,
Shilpa
and
Apurva
stated
that
participating
in
Bigg
Boss
7
wasn't
a
good
experience
for
them.
The
couple
even
stated
that
people
have
sought
psychiatric
help.
"I
wasn't
very
kicked
about
it.
I
had
the
feeling
that
whatever
name,
fame
and
respect
you
have
earned
in
your
life,
it
can
be
washed
away
in
a
snap.
And
it
has
happened
with
people.
I
know
many
friends,
who
after
the
show
went
through
severe
depression
and
took
psychiatric
help," Apurva
was
quoted
saying.
While
Shilpa
agreed
to
him,
the
Jassi
Jaisi
Koi
Nahin
actor
further
explained
that
trolling
and
negative
comments
often
take
a
toll
on
a
person
irrespective
of
how
he/she
claims
to
be
strong.
Later,
Shilpa
also
asserted
that
Apurva
even
went
on
to
lose
a
show
due
to
one
of
the
tasks
on
the
show.
The
actress
asserted
that
Apurva
was
signed
in
for
the
lead
role
in
a
show
wherein
he
was
supposed
to
be
play
the
role
of
a
businessman.
However,
Apurva
had
to
shave
his
head
in
one
of
the
tasks
while
left
Shilpa
fuming.
Apurva
was
later
replaced
from
the
show
post
his
elimination
from
Bigg
Boss
7
because
of
his
look.
Meanwhile,
talking
about
the
work
front,
Shilpa
has
returned
to
television
after
three
years
with
Karan
Kundrra
starrer
Tere
Ishq
Mein
Ghayal
wherein
she
is
playing
the
role
of
Sudha
Acharya.
