Featuring Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon in the lead roles of Aradhana and Reyansh respectively, Barsatein premiere on Sony amid a huge buzz and expectations.

A few months ago, the makers introduced Naagin 6 star Simba Nagpal as the parallel lead Jay Khurana opposite Aradhana (Shivangi Joshi) to take the entertainment level a notch higher. While Barsatein has been fetching a decent response from the viewers, there have been rumours about the show going off-air next month after a run of just six months. While the development left the loyal fanbase shocked, it looks like the news is not true. Yes, you read that right!

According to an India Forums report, the rumours of Barsatein ending in January are baseless and the show is not going off-air anytime soon.

TRUTH OUT: BARSATEIN IS NOT GOING OFF-AIR

Revealing the same, a source informed the portal, "No, this is absolutely rubbish. This news has been circulating for a while now, and we do not understand where it is coming from. We have also read stories claiming that the show is ending because Kushal is going on vacation. Seriously? Does that even make sense? Kushal has been the most cooperative and professional on the show. Yes, he is going on a vacation, but no, that does not mean the show is going off air. As for people talking about Kushal, we'd like to say that he is one of the most brilliant actors we have worked with. Yes, the channel has two or three new shows lined up, but they are still in the pipeline."
