A new actress has joined the show as Simba Nagpal's on-screen mother. We are talking about Sheetal Maulik, who was last seen in Ayesha Singh and Neil Bhatt starrer Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Interestingly, Barsatein airs at the same slot as Ghum Hain.

Sheetal Maulik, who is the new entry in Barsaatein Mausam Pyaar Ka, spoke about her bond with Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon. She said that her character is different than Sonali from GHKPM and hence, she was wondering if she could pull it off with perfection. She lauded the cast and director for making her feel comfortable on the sets of the romantic drama.

Sheetal said that her first scenes were with Simba Nagpal, who made her comfortable. The talented actress, while interacting with a portal, spoke about her bond with Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi.

Calling Shivangi a 'terrific' actress, she stated that her expressions are so real that she even felt she was hurting her during the shoot. "She is a thorough professional. Even Kushal, who I was supposed to manhandle, he assured me to perform my scenes and not worry," Sheetal told Tellychakkar.
