BB 16’s Shiv Thakare Was Hurt By Shekhar Suman’s Negative Comments, Says ‘He Had His Favourites…’
After coming out of the Bigg Boss 16 house, Shiv Thakare has finally revealed how Shekhar Sumna’s negative statements used to affect him during his stint in Colors TV’s controversial reality show.
It's been over two weeks since Colors TV's Bigg Boss 16, hosted by superstar Salman Khan, ended with rapper MC Stan walking away with the trophy. Shiv Thakare, on the other hand, came out as the runner-up.
While the result left Shiv's fans a little disappointed, the 'Marathi Manus' was happy with his 'brother' Stan's win and has now moved on in his life. He's now enjoying all the love and attention coming his way.
After winning Bigg Boss Marathi 2, Shiv entered the Bigg Boss 16 house in October last year and was among the strongest contestants. However, in a recent interview, he revealed how the negative remarks of Bigg Bulletin host Shekhar Suman used to affect him.
Shiv also opened up about having an emotional breakdown on the show due to Suman's statements during the weekly segment.
Shiv Thakare Was Hurt By Shekhar Suman’s Comment
Revealing the same in an interview with ETimes, Shiv acknowledged that Shekhar Suman may have the opportunity to watch this interview and he has no intention of disrespecting him. However, during the episodes, some of his comments were noticed by Shiv as well as his fans. Although he tried to ignore Shekhar's teasing several times, it became a regular occurrence, and his comments sometimes made Shiv feel like he was also a contestant (laughs). He was hurt by Shekhar's remarks, which is why he even had an emotional breakdown in the confession room.
Shiv Thakare Feels Shekhar Suman Had His Favourites
Shiv added, "I understand that he had his favourites and there's nothing wrong in it and he would always praise them. But I started to feel that as if we are not good human beings. I started to question myself that am I playing that dirty and why I am not realising it."
Shekhar Suman Was Following A Script?
Shiv Thakare also revealed that he met Shekhar Suman after coming out of the Bigg Boss 16 house. According to Shiv, Shekhar told him that he was following the channel's script. Well, that's interesting!

Shiv Thakare recently confirmed that he's in talks for Rohit Shetty's Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. Besides that, he's rumoured to be doing a music video with Bigg Boss 16 co-contestant Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia. There is also a buzz that he has received a film offer from Salman Khan. But, nothing is confirmed as of now.
