debut
in
2001
with
the
series
Kabhii
Sautan
Kabhii
Sahelii
alongside
Anita
Hassanandani
and
Urvashi
Dholakia,
has
made
remarkable
progress
in
his
career.
He
gained
significant
recognition
for
his
role
in
Karan
Singh
Grover's
Dill
Mill
Gayye
and
is
presently
appearing
in
Janam
Janam
Ka
Saath
on
Dangal
TV.
While
Pankit
continues
to
excel
in
his
professional
life,
he
recently
engaged
in
an
exclusive
conversation
with
Filmibeat,
addressing
Radhika
Madan's
controversial
comment
regarding
long
working
hours
on
TV.
Radhika
Madan,
a
TV
actress
turned
Bollywood
star,
is
currently
earning
rave
reviews
for
her
performance
in
the
recently-released
OTT
film
Kacchey
Limbu.
The
actress,
who
first
rose
to
fame
after
essaying
the
lead
role
of
Ishaani
in
Ekta
Kapoor's
Colors
show
Meri
Aashiqui
Tumse
Hi,
recently
shared
her
memories
of
working
as
a
television
actor,
revealing
the
demanding
nature
of
her
schedule.
She
recalled
dedicating
48-50
hours
per
shift
to
her
work.
Whenever
she
requested
the
script,
she
would
often
be
informed,
"Aap
set
pe
chalo,
script
garma
garam
aa
rahi
hai"
(You
just
come
to
the
sets,
the
script
will
be
freshly
printed).
This
meant
that
the
directors
would
make
last-minute
changes,
and
whichever
director
was
available
would
come
to
shoot
the
scenes.
In
a
recent
interview,
she
finally
took
a
U-Turn
and
claimed
that
she
has
learned
everything
due
to
the
TV
medium.
Pankit
Thakker,
who
is
appalled
by
Radhika's
statement,
slammed
her
and
told
Filmibeat,
"I
was
appalled
by
Radhika
Madan's
recent
statement
belittling
television
industry.
It
was
a
very
shameful
and
disgusting
thought
process,
especially
coming
from
someone
who
owes
her
success
to
it.
And
now
she
has
backtracked
on
her
comments
and
admitted
that
she
has
learned
everything
through
television."
He
added,
"Madan's
wavering
comments
has
left
me
wondering
about
her
stand
on
the
issue.
On
one
hand,
she
belittles
the
TV
industry
for
their
long
working
hours,
while
on
the
other,
she
acknowledges
that
she
has
learned
everything
through
television.
This
kind
of
dilly-dallying
seems
to
suggest
a
lack
of
clarity
in
her
thoughts.
Radhika's
comments
seem
to
be
rash
and
ill-informed."
Pankit
is
not
happy
with
Radhika
disrespecting
the
TV
industry.
Irked
with
her,
the
actor
added,
"Learning
something
from
the
TV
industry
and
disrespecting
the
same
in
the
same
breath
is
being
completely
thankless
on
her
part.
Radhika
Madan
seems
to
be
under
the
impression
that
working
in
films
is
superior
to
working
in
television.
According
to
Pankit,
Radhika
should
have
thought
twice
before
making
comments
like
these.
Taking
a
dig
at
her
film
choices,
he
concluded,
"I
hope
she
realizes
that
it's
easy
for
someone
like
Radhika,
who
has
managed
to
score
a
few
roles
in
films,
to
look
down
upon
television.
But
let's
be
real
-
her
film
choices
are
hardly
going
to
lead
her
anywhere
close
to
success.
If
anything,
her
IQ
definitely
needs
to
be
questioned
after
the
disastrous
Mard
Ko
Dard
Nahi
Hota.
It
is
crucial
for
her
to
have
a
self-check
on
her
comments
before
making
any
public
statements."
We
wonder
how
Radhika
Madan
would
react
to
it.
