After taking a long break of five years, model-turned-actor Aayush Shrivastav recently revealed that he's finally making his acting comeback very soon. Known for featuring in several popular shows like Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel's Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Jodha Akbar, Peshwa Bajirao, and 24 season 2 among others, he waited for a long time to bag the right project.
In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, Aayush revealed exciting details about his comeback project and confirmed that he has bagged a pivotal role in an upcoming Telugu film. Yes, you read that right! The talented star is making his South film debut very soon.

Revealing the same, the actor said, "As we all know Telugu Cinema has set a benchmark globally in terms of content. After RRR the dynamics have changed for world cinema. A regional film has gone overseas and has been widely appreciated. When the film was offered to me, the first thing that popped into my head was whether I would be able to do justice to a film that is in a completely different language. I am from a Hindi-speaking belt and I can't even speak one word of Telugu but the makers assured me that they will give us some basic classes and teach me the nuances of Telugu cinema before it hits the floor."
AAYUSH SHRIVASTAV REVEALS DETAILS ABOUT HIS ROLE IN THE TELUGU FILM
Aayush shared interesting details about his role in the upcoming film and added, "Well, it's challenging yet fun. Because it's an action-packed film, as an actor we all want to come across as a gladiator, who fights against all the odds and comes as a victor. The best thing I liked about the film was that there is no main lead or second lead. Every character plays a key role in completing the film. We are working hard on the pre-production as it's a VFX-packed film and we don't want to leave any stone unturned. I would be talking more about my role once we announce the film."
For the unversed, Aayush took a break from showbiz to help his father in business. However, when he was planning to make a comeback, the COVID-19 pandemic hit the entire nation very badly and his break got extended.
However, he's now all kicked to win hearts again.
