Fahmaan Khan Is Step-Son of THIS Amar Akbar Anthony Actor, Says ‘I Don’t Talk About It If…’

Fahmaan Khan Family: One of most loved and popular celebrities on TV, Fahmaan Khan won many hearts with his performance as Aryan Singh Rathore in Gul Khan's Imlie. Co-starring Sumbul Touqeer Khan, the show was a huge hit and made Fahmaan a household name.

After quitting Imlie last year due to generation leap, the actor bagged Ekta Kapoor's Pyar Ke Saath Vachan Dharampatnii which was launched in November last year on Colors TV. Fahmaan is essaying the lead role of Ravi Randhawa and is fetching a positive response.

AMAR AKBAR ANTHONY ACTOR ZEBISKO IS FAHMAAN KHAN'S STEP-FATHER

As he's doing great professionally, his loyal fans must be aware that Fahmaan got inspired to become an actor from his late brother Faraaz Khan, who was seen alongside Rani Mukerji in Mehndi. However, did you know that he's the step son of Amar Akbar Anthony actor Zebisko?

Yes, you read that right! Well, Faraaz was Fahmaan's step-brother and son of Zebisko aka Yusuf Khan.

In a recent interview, Fahmaan revealed that he was born after his mother married his father Shahbaaz Khan after Zebisko's death. He also mentioned that he and his three siblings have always had a strong bond and there has never been any form of favoritism or discrimination among them.

Talking about the same, he told ETimes, "I have two brothers and one sister. Faraaz, Fahed and Fadhya are my siblings. They are children of Zebisko aka Yousuf Khan. My mother was married to Zebisko first. His actual name is Yusuf Khan and at the age of 48, he died of a heart attack. At that time the kids were really young, my eldest brother was 14, my other brother was 12 and my sister was 9 at that time. My mother was a widow at that time with three young kids so my father who was a family friend at that time, got married to her. Three years down the line I was born. I am the son of her second husband Shahbaaz Khan."

Fahmaan still view Zebisko as his father, which is a modern perspective according to him. Initially, there were some difficulties because his siblings were young and struggled to accept the situation. They were afraid that my father would take their mother away from them. However, as time passed, my father was frequently absent, working to support our family in Saudi Arabia. My mother was always there for us, and eventually, my siblings came to understand that my father's actions were sincere.

The actor concluded, "Generally, I don't talk about it if people consider me Zubesko's son, I am fine with it. This is the first time I've spoken about it. He's my siblings father and also my dad and it is not an issue."

WHO WAS FAHMAAN KHAN'S STEP-FATHER ZEBISKO AKA YUSUF KHAN?

Yusuf Khan, popularly known as Zebisko from Amar Akbar Anthony, acted in around 35 films and is remembered for playing villainous roles through the 1970s and 1980s. He's best known for playing the role of Parveen Babi's bodyguard in Manmohan Desai's multi-starrer Amar Akbar Anthony also starring Amitabh Bachcham Vinod Khanna, Rishi Kapoor, and Shabana Azmi among others. Muqaddar Ka Sikandar (1978) and Disco Dancer (1982) are some of his other notable films.

His last release was Bhediyon Ka Samooh: A Pack of Wolves which came out after his demise. He passed away in Hyderabad in 1985 after suffering a heart attack.
