Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum Off Air Date: After capturing the audience's hearts on Salman Khan's controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 16, Tina Datta returned to the world of fiction with Sony TV's Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum alongside Jay Bhanushali.
The show, which is an adaptation of the popular Turkish series İstanbullu Gelin, also known as Bride of Istanbul, made its debut on Sony TV in April of this year amidst great anticipation and excitement. Despite receiving considerable critical acclaim for its storyline and performances, Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum has struggled to achieve high TRP ratings from the very start.
HUM RAHE NA RAHE HUM CONFIRMED TO GO OFF-AIR
In recent days, multiple reports have surfaced, indicating that Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum might be taken off air very soon. While these reports have left dedicated fans of the show disappointed, Tina Datta, known as Surili, has finally addressed the rumors surrounding the potential end of her daily soap.
Well, the talented actress has confirmed that the show is indeed ending in September and the cast has already wrapped-up its shoot. Yes, you read that right! While Tina is sad that the popular drama is coming to an end after a run of five months, she feels grateful for bagging a project like Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum right after coming out of Bigg Boss 16.
TINA DATTA ON HUM RAHE NA RAHE HUM ENDING THIS MONTH
Talking to ETimes recently, she shared her thoughts and stated, "It's never easy when your project goes off air. I have been living the character of Surili for the last six months and she's so relatable that it becomes all the more difficult. I am glad that I got back to work right after Bigg Boss 16 and that, too, with a show which wasn't the typical saas-bahu saga. This was never supposed to be an infinite show. Everything that starts has an end and I'm glad the show is ending on a high point rather than stretching itself for no reason."
Well, her fans are surely going to miss her as Surili from Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum, however, here's hoping to see Tina Datta returning to the small screen with another show very soon.
