TV STARS WHO REJECTED ABHIMANYU'S ROLE IN YRKKH BEFORE HARSHAD
Kushal Tandon
Currently seen playing the lead role of Reyansh in Ekta Kapoor's Sony TV show Barsatein, Kushal Tandon was approached for Abhimanyu's role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as per a report in Prabhat Khabar. However, he rejected the offer due to unknown reasons.
Shivin Narang
TV star Shivin Narang, last seen as Rudra in Jennifer Winget's Beyhadh 2, also received the offer to play the lead role of Abhimanyu. It looks like even he said no to the big offer.
Ravie Dubey
Ravie Dubey, best known for doing hit shows like Saas Bina Sasural and Jamai Raja, was also considered for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. But, the talented actor refused the offer as he has no plans of doing a daily soap and is focusing on OTT shows and films.
Karan Singh Grover
The makers of YRKKH also reached out to Karan Singh Grover, who was last seen on TV as Mr. Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. Just like Ravie Dubey, even he's not interested in doing long-running TV shows and hence said 'no'.
At last, Harshad Chopda was roped in for Abhimanyu's part which gave him huge love from fans.
