Things turned ugly on Friday (February 16) as the two fandoms engaged in a nasty war on social media, trying to bring down the other person by running negative trends.
Trends like 'Party stunner Munawar', 'TRP king Elvish', 'Snake Supplier Elvish' and 'Munawar National threat' were trending on X on Friday. The negative tweets captured the attention of the netizens who wondered who was behind the same.

While both Elvish Yadav and Munawar Faruqui are winners of Bigg Boss, their fandoms took things to a different level while taking a dig at each other's favourites.
Elvish Yadav, who remained in the headlines after slapping a man at a restaurant, reacted to the negative trends on social media. Without mentioning names, the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner took a jibe and tweeted, "Aaj toh kayi logo ke ghar paneer banwa diya humne (sic)." Netizens wondered if he took a dig at Munawar's fans through his tweet.
Earlier this week, Elvish issued an audio statement over the controversy surrounding his altercation with the man. He maintained that he has no interest in fighting with someone but if a person makes a personal remark, he would give it back to him.
"Bhai, dekho, matter ye hai, naa mujhe shauk hai ladai karne ka, naa mere ko haath uthane ka shauk hai. Main apne kaam se kaam rakhta hoon. Main chalta hoon normal. Aur jo photo khichwane ko kehta hai, hum kichwate hai aaram se photo. Par, jo koi piche se comment pass karta hai, usko nahi bakshte," Elvish said in a statement as quoted as saying by India Today.
