Diya Aur Baati Hum, December 24th episode written update: Sandhya receives a call from Hyderabad Police Academy who asks to reach there tomorrow by 11 a.m. Dai Sa and other ladies jump in and take Sandhya's side. Suraj supports and consoles Bhabho. Imli and Meena bring lunch for everyone from home. No one says anything. Meena asks Bhabho to request everyone to eat. Mohit applies for leave from office. Sandhya asks Vikram to take Bhabho home so that she can take some rest. Chhavi asks Sandhya if she is going to Hyderabad. But she denies that she would not go to Hyderabad.

Vikram asks her to go to Hyderabad and tells her how excited Baba Sa was to see Sandhya as a police officer. Meena also makes her understand that she should not leave her idea of going for police training. Everyone requests Sandhya to go for training. Sandhya tells everyone that the complete family needs her right now. She says that she will not go for training. The whole family leaves for home leaving Sandhya and Suraj in the hospital.

Suraj also asked Sandhya to not to miss this opportunity but she tells her that right now the family needs her. But she makes him understand of the condition. They both support each other emotionally. Sandhya tells Suraj that she is going to call the police academy.

Vikram and Mohit consoles Bhabho and asks her not to worry and go to sleep. Bhabho asks all the family members to take some rest and they all leave. Bhabho cries her heart out sitting alone. Suddenly the phone rings. Bhabho answers the call and calls out for all the family members. She requests to take her to the hospital. Sandhya types an e-mail to the police academy. Suddenly Bhabho enters and stops Sandhya from sending the e-mail. Bhabho asks Sandhya to go for training and not to worry about Baba Sa. She tells her that Baba Sa is fine now.
