Ek Boond Ishq December 24th Episode Written Update: Mrityunjay gets lost to see all the clothes washed and wonders what he would wear now. She starts running and playing a game calling out to him as "Golu ke Papa". She teases him and asks him to break his Maun Vrat. Suddenly Tara's dupatta flies and covers Mrityunjay's face. He sees Tara dressed up in his shirt. He gets struck to see him and finally lowers down his eyes embarrassed. She complains that he has again made all the clothes dirty.

Tara becomes tensed as Mrityunjay has not yet spoken a word and it is evening already. She would loose the challenge. She fires hr dupatta consciously ti draw Mrityunjay's attention towards her. Suddenly Baba calls out Tara and Mrityunjay runs to save her. He throws the burning dupatta and hugs Tara. She breaks in her arms. He scolds her fir her ignorance. Tara feels overwhelmed and thanks him for showing his caressing. Baba asks if she is fine and she confirms the same. Mrityunjay asks Baba to take Tara with him but Baba leaves her with him.

Tara wakes up in the morning and he is working in thr verandah. She pokes him again and again to speak. He denies that he will not answer any of her questions. But he shouts on her and she pacifies him patiently. She tries to convince her to answer her queries. His phone rings suddenly and he receives a message stating that his grandfather is not well.

Tara asks him to come back soon as she has kept the fast if Karvachauth for him. He tells her clearly that he would spend the night out so she should do whatever she wants to. Meethi asks Tara why is he keeping fast for Mrityunjay. She respects her feelings and appreciates her efforts. Tara gets reminded of her mother. Meethi supports her. Mrityunjay's grandfather is admitted in hospital and he gets stuck there.

Meethi serves tea to Baba. She tells that Mrityunjay is not talking to Tara for unknown reasons but he says that he wonders what has happened to Mrityunjay.

The girl staying with Raghu Kaka practices to walk. But Raghu Kaka scolds for being careless. But she says that she needs to recover fast and fill her wounds.

Rudra Pratap rehearses of his speech which he would give at the demise of Jairaj. Jairaj comes to meet Rudra Pratap. He denies that he would not be able to attend his organised meeting as he has to attend a very important meeting. He panics and then asks him to attend the gathering on his behalf. Finally Jairaj says that he would cancel his meeting.
