Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2 21st January written Episode: Under the shower, when life’s duration has become uncertain and death is perhaps very close, Astha wants to know whether Shlok ever loved her, beside making her suffer. She asks, if Shlok has ever loved her, what the name should be for this love! Before Shlok can answer, smoke intervenes between them, they start coughing again. Finally they are rescued and the journalists gather around them.

Astha’s parents are relieved to get her back in a fine health. But Kalindi becomes hypersensitive over the fact that Astha is working in Shlok’s company and she has hidden it from her family. Astha says that she has signed the company bond without knowing that it was Shlok’s company. Astha’s father understands her.

Shlok drinks in isolation and utters that he hates the concept of love, he never loved anyone. Shlok’s father comes to his room and asks about his health. He tells his son that he has always tried to give him good values and good customs and Shlok has followed him religiously. Now he wants Astha back in the family, as he believes that women are the beauty and grace of a home. Women can keep the home in order when there is a storm outside.

Before going to the court for the hearing of divorce, Kalindi prays to God. Astha asks her the meaning of a Mangalsutra. Kalindi explains that it is a bonding of love between a couple, it is an age-old belief and this belief provides strength to the relationship. She adds that as Shlok has never loved Astha, so the Mangalsutra makes no meaning for her. She leaves it to Astha whether to wear it or not. Astha remembers that Shlok told her to remove the Mangalsutra. She herself now feels that it is meaningless and so, she removes it.
