Jodha Akbar: 22nd January Written Episode

Jodha Akbar 22nd January written Episode: Jodha tells Akbar that Benazir is a Bishkanya, a snake-woman. Akbar is not at all ready to believe this. When he hears that Jodha has heard this from Sharifuddin, he says that it must be some wicked plot of Sharifuddin, who is a traitor. But Jodha emphasizes that she has seen Benazir to intake snake’s poison and she is ready to accept any punishment, if she is proved wrong.

Akbar calls everyone to the Dewan-e-Khas on an urgent basis. Benazir is called and Akbar tells him about Jodha’s allegation against her. Akbar says that she has to prove her innocence in front of everyone. Akbar instructs Benazir to drink a portion from a glass of milk and then instructs Zakira to drink the rest of it.

If Zakira is affected, then it would be proved that the milk has turned poisonous and Benazir is a Bishkanya. Zakira shows extreme level of faithfulness and she drinks the milk. But surprisingly she is not affected by it in public. Jodha is proved wrong. Maha Manga and Begum Rukaiya rebuke Jodha for bringing false allegation against Benazir. Akbar tells Jodha that she has made wrong judgment about Benazir, as she made in case of Shivani, her sister.

In her chamber Jodha becomes restless. Moti tells her to take rest and forget all these things. Hamida Begum visits Jodha’s chamber and tells her that if she still sticks to her point, her relationship with Akbar would turn more bitter. She also tells Jodha to forget everything about Benazir. Jodha feels helpless seeing that her friend cum attendant Moti and her mother-in-law, who always favour her, are now misunderstanding her. They are thinking that Jodha is having some hallucination.

Zakira becomes ill after coming to the chamber of Benazir. Benazir thanks her for risking her life and she nurses her. Benazir tells her that they have to flee from Agra. If she kills Akbar now, everyone would understand that Jodha’s allegation was true and she would not be able to escape. And if Abul Mali becomes able to get out of prison, he would kill her for failing in her job. She plans to visit the Darga with Zaikra and then flee from Agra forever.
