Diya Aur Baati Hum: Sandhya Cremates Officer Singh: Vows Revenge Upon Garjana

Diya Aur Baati Hum's August 29th episode: Officer Singh is repeatedly fired by the commander on her legs and arms. She lies on the ground helplessly, but does not lose the strength of mind. She sees the open cash-box of Garjana. While they are celebrating their victory thinking she will die soon, she crawls and takes a burning lamp. She sets the cash-box on fire.

Shekhar fires Singh on her chest. Her fight against the terrorists comes to an end finally. Bade Raja tells his comrades to dump the body in the jungle, to be eaten by wild animals. Sandhya sees the Garjana men dumping Singh’s body.

After the Garjana men leave, Sandhya comes beside Singh’s body and finds that she is no more. She bursts into tears and regrets that she has failed to save her dear teacher. She checks her palms and finds the date 2nd October written there. She understands it must be some secret of Garjana.

Sandhya makes a funeral pyre and cremates Singh with proper respect. This incident fires her anger against the terrorists even more. She vows to ruin them as soon as possible.

Babasa sees that Bhabho is worried about Lalima. He says that her behavior is changed. Previously she believed that only Lalima can cure Sooraj and give him a life worth living, but now she is feeling bad when Sooraj has become dependent on the girl.

Bhabho says she is not feeling insecure; she only wants to know the true intention of Lalima. Babasa reminds her that Lalima is the person who has safely taken Sooraj back to the house.

Lalima meets Sooraj’s doctor and comes to know that Sooraj is extremely vulnerable to any kind of mental shock. He needs a joyful environment to recover quickly, says the doctor.
