Diya Aur Baati Hum: Meena Fails To Expel Lalima

Diya Aur Baati Hum's September 3rd episode: Sandhya hears that the Garjana men are in trouble. She follows Shekhar and comes to the hut of Vaid Devi Narayani. She sees that Narayani is seeing a foreigner who is suffering from stomach issues. Sandhya understands that the mineral water was meant for the foreigner and he has fallen ill after she changed the mineral water with the river water.

Sandhya sees that two Garjana men are taking the foreigner to the river bank. The man crosses the river alone; Sandhya also crosses the river and sees him getting vanished in the jungle.

Meenakshi and Mohit plan to frame Lalima. Sooraj sees that Sandhya’s sarees are missing from the cupboard. Lalima comes to the house to see Sooraj. Mohit brings a paper and says it is a thanks receipt from a charity organization, which has sent the receipt to the house. The organization has acknowledged that someone from the house has donated some sarees and ornaments to the organization.

Sooraj is shocked to know that Sandhya’s sarees have been donated without his knowledge. Meena and Mohit show that Lalima’s name has been mentioned in the receipt as the donor.

Meena insists that Lalima should be expelled from the house as soon as possible. Lalima tells Sooraj that she is innocent. Sooraj remains silent. Lalima is about to leave the house with teary eyes.

Sooraj stops Lalima. He says that he completely trusts her; a girl who can risk her own life by stepping into a well to rescue Sandhya’s picture, cannot do any harm to Sandhya's things, believes Sooraj. He reminds Lalima that she promised never to leave him alone until he finds Sandhya. Lalima again promises that she will never leave Sooraj.
