Diya Aur Baati Hum 2: Is Star Plus launching the second season of Diya Aur Baati Hum? This is the question on everyone's mind ever since rumours about the upcoming show surfaced on the internet. It is being said that the leading GEC is all set to strengthen its prime time programming by launching the new show.

DIYA AUR BAATI HUM 2 CAST, LAUNCH DATE

According to a report in Tellychakkar, Shashi and Sumeet are gearing up for the launch of a new show that will revolve around an IAS officer. Khushi Dubey, who is fondly known for her role in Aashiqana and Naagin, is expected to play the female lead in DABH 2.

Navneet Malik and Ashish Dixit are rumoured to join Khushi in Diya Aur Baati Hum season 2 as the male leads.

Gossip mills suggest that Star Plus will give the original 9pm slot to DABH season 2 once it gets ready for launch. Baatein Kuch Ankahee is rumoured to be going off air. Earlier this month, we informed our readers about Mohit Malik and Sayli Salunkhe starrer facing axe due to dip in TRPs.

Our khabri had quipped earlier, "Star Plus is the number one channel and always wishes to entertain the audience with the best shows possible. It will be launching new content next year before the start of IPL 2023. Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si is under the scanner and might bid adieu to the show as the channel wants a strong show at the coveted 9pm slot. It might even get shifted to a new time slot if the ratings improve."

As the TRP of Baatein Kuch Ankahee has improved, it remains to be seen what will be the fate of the show.
