Mr Nookayya

Unlike other heroes, Manoj is not after commercial flicks but always looks for some kind of novelty. Most of his films are of different subject and he always does different characters. After his recent film Vedam, he looked for another different subject and at the same time wanted to do some kind of action and commercial entertainer too. Let's see what he offers in Mr Nookayya.

Nookayya aka Nokia is a cellphone thief. He is an orphan and he has two friends Nampally (Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao) and Chaa Chaa (Vennela Kishore). He is in love with Shilpa (Sana Khan) asks Nookayya that they should have a nice car, lots of cash and a house before their marriage.On the other hand, Anuradha (Kriti Karbandha) marries Kiran (Raja) and they both were on a trip to Bangalore when Kiran gets kidnapped by a gang led by Shajahan (Murali Sharma).

They demand Rs 2 crore ransom for the release of Kiran. Anu works in a bank and somehow steals Rs 2 crore from but Nookayya steals the money from her. However, when he takes the money to Shilpa, he is surprised to know a harsh fact and Shilpa and Chaa Chaa escape with the money. Later, Nookayya accidentally meets Anu and comes to know that the money is stolen from the bank for the release of her husband. The kind hearted Nookayya decided to rescue her husband. Did Nookayya release her husband from the clutches of kidnappers? Did Shilpa marry Nookayya? Is there any twist in the kidnap of Kiran? Answers to all these questions form part of the climax.
