Karthik (Navadeep) is a vagabond. Though his father (Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam) is a landlord, he failed to assist his father and moves without any useful work. However, his life ambition is to become a hero, as his mother always used to say that my son is like a hero.

Though his mother dies in his childhood itself, his sister brings him up like mother and pampers him very much. Once, he gets a call letter from the Film Institute but he has to pay Rs 1 lakh towards the fee, which throws him in deep depression.

At this juncture, a girl called Chaitra (Ekta Khosla) visits their village claiming that she was planning to do a telefilm on the village. As she looked quite rich, Karthik and his friends (Satyam Rajesh and Suman Setty) try to cash in on the opportunity. All the four become good friends in no time. Chaitra's foster mother (Vadivukkarasi) comes to know where she is and sends goons to that village.

But, Chaitra escapes By that time, they were able to pool up Rs 50,000 Karthik's sister gives away her jewellery and advises him to go to Hyderabad. Accidentally, Chaitra reaches the city joins Karthik.
