Jagapatibabu plays journalist

A common man is quite peaceful. If he loses his patience and his angry reaches its heights then it would burst open. This is the basic theme of Samanyudu. Director Ravi C Kumar, popular as Ravi Chavali earlier, says, Jagapatibabu plays the role of an editor of 'Addam' daily in this film. He would act as a representative of a common man. It is the media which is like a bridge between the people and the politicians. Our hero would use media as a weapon to teach a lesson to the crooked politicians. We have moulded the subject in a different way and one had to experience it on the screen. It was a never before role for Jagapati Babu.' He further says, 'Arunkumar is playing the role of younger brother to Jagapati Babu, while Vinodkumar has played a role of heroine Kamna Jethmalani's brother, which has a touch of negative shade. Rajiv Kanakala is doing the job of a reporter, while Archana is another heroine in the film. Each character has its own identity.
