<i>Madhumasam</i> completes 50 per cent shoot

Fifty per cent shooting of Madhumasam directed by Chandra Siddhartha of Aa Naluguru-fame produced by Dr D Ramanaidu on the banner of Suresh Productions with Sumanth, Sneha and Parvati Melton in the lead was completed. Presently, canning of a song involving all the important artistes is in progress at Ramanaidu Studios in Nanakramguda under the choreography of DKS Babu. Producer D Ramanaidu says, 'Several novels took shape on the celluloid on our banner. The flow was abruptly stopped some time ago. Now, we again chose a novel Neeku Naaku Madhya penned by Balabhadrapatruni Ramani'. I liked the novel very much and there are several elements that could attract all classes of audiences. After watching Aa Naluguru I developed a strong inclination to make a film with him and I am sure that he would reach my expectations. I was able to recollect the good olden days wherein all the artistes and technicians worked like a family while the shooting of this film is in progress. Like the earlier heroines, Jamuna, Vanisri, Jayasudha and Jayaprada, the heroine of present generation Sneha is performing in the film with a homely appearance.' Sumanth says, 'I am very happy to work with a prestigious banner like Suresh Productions. I am playing a totally different character in a good love subject. Manisharma's tunes would be an asset for the film.' Sneha says, 'I have a strong ambition to work in Ramanaidu's banner for the past so many days and I got an opportunity now. Director Chandra Sidhartha moulded my character in a beautiful way.'

Responding to Sneha's comments, Chandra Siddhartha says, 'A good film would come up, if the director was able to select good story, good artistes and able technicians. This film had got all these requirements. I am very confident that the film would attract everyone.' Producer Ramanaidu further says, 'We will complete the shooting of the talkie part of the film with the next schedule that continue up to December 16. Later, we will can a song in Araku and two songs were planned to be shot abroad. We will release the film in January.' Giribabu, Chalapati Rao, Naresh, Allari Ravi, Ahuti Prasad, Surya, Uttej, MS Narayana, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Jayaprakash Reddy, Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao, Sameer, Seema, Kavitha, Sivaparvathi and others are in the cast. Dialogues are by Satyanand, lyrics are by Veturi, Chandrabose, Suddala Ashokteja, Peddada Murthy, cinematography is by Sudhakar Yekkanti, editing is by Marthand K Venkatesh, screenplay and direction are by Chandra Siddhartha.
